Shein launches the Shein X program to give emerging designers a voice by making their collections at 360°.

Fashion is a very competitive world. For this reason, emerging talents often fail to make their voices heard. Shein, the international e-tailer, has decided to make its means and funds available to realize, sell and promote their creations. Thus was born Shein X, the Designer Incubator aimed at supporting emerging talents at 360°.

Shein X: shares new proposals

Shein is an international platform for online B2C clothing sales. The company specializes mainly in women’s ready-to-wear but also offers men’s clothing, children’s clothing, accessories, shoes, bags and other fashion items. Shein primarily targets Europe, the United States, Australia and the Middle East, and other consumer markets. The brand was founded in October 2008; since then, its goal is to adhere to the philosophy that everyone can appreciate the beauty of fashion. Its operations cover more than 220 countries and regions around the world.

The Shein X platform is designed to share new fashion proposals with Shein’s audience, which, of course, has millions of customers daily and will provide the following services to the candidates:

  • Production of the collection created by the designers
  • Promotion of the collection created by the designers
  • 360 ° support in the plan and digital strategy 
  • Sharing of profits from collection sales

In addition to the incredible visibility that designers will receive, Shein will also share with them the profits from the sale of their collections, giving many talents the financial support they will need to continue to grow their brand into the next phase.

The brand will work alongside designers to assist them at all phases, from the concept to sample creation; from production to distribution via the official website.

Shein X will launch one designer per month, with a focus on Italian designers starting in July. Each launch will be followed by a structured marketing strategy that includes creating the lookbook and photographic material for the collection, digital PR, and influencer marketing activities. All of this will allow the designers to do what they do best: create, while Shine will do what it always does best: sell. Let’s get ready, then, for a new season of exclusive and avant-garde colors and shapes.
