Vimeo: personalized contact forms

Users can now add customizable contact forms to their videos, sync form submissions directly to their favorite email marketing platform, and engage prospects with video GIFs in email, all from the Vimeo platform. Among the new features introduced to Vimeo’s video platform, first and foremost is the ability to create and personalize contact forms.

Companies will be able to collect relevant information for viewers through in-video contact forms that are fully customizable and optimized for mobile devices.

You can select what information to ask for; add company logos and messages; decide placement within the video; link to privacy policies, and track impressions and response rates directly within Vimeo analytics to understand what works and what doesn’t.

In addition, the all-in-one solution for video now provides integration with popular marketing platforms.

You can connect a Vimeo account to HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact and others; all lead information collected will auto-sync with existing mailing lists. There is, finally, the ability to create and embed GIFs of any video into follow-up email campaigns.


The platform automatically generates unique embed codes for a number of software houses, including HubSpot, Mailchimp, Constant Contact, Campaign Monitor, Keap, Gmail and Google AMP.

The video platform company pointed out that this release is the latest in a series of new features. Vimeo integrations were introduced to help businesses communicate more effectively with video. It follows the launch of Vimeo Record, a free video messaging tool for remote teams.

Vimeo’s video marketing and lead-generation tools are available to Vimeo Business, Premium and Enterprise users.
